The Chronicles of Bloomsbury celebrates the return of SUPERMAN!!
I can't wait to see this movie. I should be good. Early reviews were great, and judging by Bryan Singer's great work in the first two X-Men movies (which was later ruined by Brett Ratner), I think Superman Returns is going to be awesome. And I just found out that the movie is also being released in the I-MAX format. I think I should try that out. Another thing I anticipate about this movie, is James Marsden's yet another role as "the other guy". He's played this kind of role in The Notebook, and all three X-Men movies. In The Notebook, he plays the man who was engaged to Rachel McAdams' character while she was still in love with Ryan Gosling's character. In the X-Men movies, he plays Cyclops who dates Jean Grey, who has the hots on Wolverine. And next week, we will see him as the man who is engaged to Lois Lane, and she is obviously still in love with the man in tights. I think they also have a child together. Oh and I just remembered. He was also in Ally McBeal, playing a young lawyer who was in love with Ally, while Ally was still lusting over Billy, who was married to Georgia. Wow. James Marsden is apparently really good at playing men who are in love with women who are in love with some other men. I think years from now, we're gonna see a biopic about him, and the movie would be called...
Yup! You guessed it!
"The Other Guy"
It's gonna be awesome!
Oh and did you know that James Marsden was also one of the guys they auditioned for the role of Superman, but apparently, he can't play Superman because he already is Cyclops, and a double-superhero won't be good for his career (Yes, Halle Berry shouldn't have played Catwoman. She's Storm!!). And now he's playing the other guy, a role he's brilliant at.
The casting directors of "Superman Returns" really did their homework!
